An Alternative License is a way for individuals that have a passion for teaching, but do not have a background in education, to enter into a teaching career. Review the below programs to see which one may work best for you.

• AdvanceEDU + PEBC- Complete a Bachelor's degree from Southern New Hampshire, Colorado State University Global or Western Governors University.  This program is for anyone who has not completed a Bachelor’s degree and would like to go into teaching in Colorado.  See which Pathway through PEBC is right for you and how to Become a Teacher through PEBC.
  
  
• MSU Denver Alternative Licensure Program- Metropolitan State University of Denver offers five Alternative Licensure Programs.  See which program is best for you.

• ASPIRE to Teach- Through the University of Colorado, Denver. Fully remote, online, competency-based program (non-course based, nongraded), personalized program to meet needs and experiences a candidate brings into the program and teaching profession.
